After months of considering going back to World of Warcraft i have finally done it!

The Cataclysm expansion pack was released on the 7th of December, but even though i pre-ordered it from Amazon months ago it was delayed by a week due to bad weather! Damn snow.

Cataclysm is the 3rd and final (so Blizzard say) expansion for WoW, and from what I've seen so far it doesn't disappoint. A lot of things have changed, you can now reach level 85, new lands have been added, and current ones enhanced, new races and starting areas and much much more.

I haven't played World of Warcraft for a few weeks now and to be honest i didn't really miss it either shocking i know. However the last couple of weeks my friend Vicky has been asking me to play with her (not in that way!) and before you say anything, that's right shes a girl that plays WoW!!!! amazing i know.

So last night after her 2 weeks of moaning.... i mean asking i broke and i had to go onto WoW. Shes not on my main server though so i decided to start a new character on her server. I'm now "DKStevie" a level 57 Death Knight. This has made Vickie happier however until i complete some Newbie Death Knight tasks we can't play with each other (there's so much innuendo in this blog today! )....

I think i may have spent toooo much time on WoW this weekend, 3 levels in less than 3 days, thats pretty good going for me. I am getting very very very addicted though, its not too obvious is it?

Looks like i was right i did make level 63 today. I don't think this is a good thing though, it just proves I'm getting addicted to World of Warcraft again . It was pretty predictable that it would happen though.

I seem to be doing much better this time, now that could be because i am actually getting better or that the game has got easier. I like to think it's because its got better

I'll be at level 70 in no time!!

Well it didn't take long did it, I've been back playing World of Warcraf since Monday and i've already leveled up once. I'm now level 62 . To be honest that's not all that quick really, i need to get faster and that's excatly what I'm doing. I dinged level 62 last night, and I'm already halfway to level 63 i think that's proof i'm getting addicted again .

The Wrath of the Lich King expansion arrived today, which mean't i could take a quick look around the new continent. The reason it was a quick look is because i died about 5 minutes after arriving. It's designed for levels 68+ so I'm still a little way off that, and i was on my own as well which didn't help. If i went with someone who was a higher level i could probably have a better look around.....

Yup that's right, I've once again been dragged into World Of Warcraft. I knew it was only a matter of time before i was back.

Last night was my first time back. I was loving it again within minutes. There has been a new expansion, which i dont have yet (hurry up play.com), but there has also been a lot of other changes and enhancements. For example you can now ride your mounts whist on boats and in areas you couldn't before.

This probably is very boring for most people so i will try not to go on for too much longer .....

It was only a matter of time before this happened, i knew i couldn't stay away forever.

Most of you are probably thinking what the hell is he talking about. Well a few months ago i stopped playing World of Warcraft because i got bored of it, and also i was spending tooo much time playing it. Even when the new expansion, Wrath of the Lich King came out in November i wasn't tempted to start playing again.

However after a few weeks of talking to people who play it, i have decided to reactivate my account and start playing it again. . So i stupidly gave Blizzard my credit card details and once again they will start taking £8.99 a month.....

Whilst surfing around the net today, i found this. Only World of Warcraft playlers will understand.

You will need

This is a 20 man raid. Your group should consist of 3 tanks, 7 healers, 4 patient listeners, 3 martial arts experts, a priest, a bartender and a lawyer.

Everyone in the raid needs at least 300 guilt resistance.

All members should have Flask of Tainted Logic which allows the imbiber to think like a woman for 2 hours. In reality however this is still not going to help.

The fight

When you first engage your girlfriend she will spawn 110 adds - all of which are her friends. If anyone in the raid shows the smallest dislike for her friends, your girlfriend will do a melee attack - hitting everyone for 2300 - 4110 emotional damage.....
